9/9/10- The Waiting Game

Had time to kill today between 10am and 6:00pm when I was functionally homeless.  Couldn't be too adventurous as I was carrying cash for my deposit and rent.  I dined on a full Irish breakfast for lunch at a bar in Temple Bar called Farrington's.

The meal. accompanied by Guinness, consisted of ham, sausage, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs, these hushpuppy-esque cakes, and toast.  11 Euro.  Overall a lot of food and tasty but it quickly cools and loses its appeal.  I later learned this was more of a hangover cure than a common meal.

Took a few quick pics of Trinity:

The Law School

The Spire:

Moved in at night, went shopping for linens (highlight being the duvet, pronounced "Doovee") and a new adaptor.  Ate fried rice for dinner at Cheun Cuisine.  It wasn't very good, chock full of red and green peppers with minimal soy sauce.

  1. Hey man, Kris here. That breakfast you ate looks nothing short of EPIC. Hope you're having a blast now that you're moved in. Keep on posting, I'll keep on reading. :)
